1. How did you get into the Hyundai scene?
Honda, Honda, Honda that's all I saw being raced on the streets and at the car shows. I started looking around and doing some research on Hyundai's. I found Hyundai Tuner, Kore motorsports, sharkracing and the fact that I wanted to be different I bought my 02 Accent. The first month having the car I bought the WRC ATH body kit and there after saved every penny towards my project.
2. What has been your best accomplishment with the car?
I would say that buying the Hyundai Elantra engine and swapping in the bigger engine into my car was the best feeling I have ever had. To see all the hard work come into play with more horse power and this also allowed me to have more options to add nitrous, turbo, or 4-2-1 header. I had the best of both worlds, which I really wanted the Tiburon but I could not afford the 2-door coupe.
3. Where do you see yourself in the immediate and long term future with the car?
I will never sell the car and will continue on modifying my car until the car is done. I still need too find and install the Tiburon seats, Tiburon transmission installed and get the car down the track again.
4. Thanks and Props:
I want to thank Hyundai Aftermarket for giving me the chance to win featured ride and all the great information on the forums to understand my car better and getting me the help that I have needed from the Hyundai community. Thank you too my loving girlfriend, Courtney for all the support, ideas, and help with the car. Thank you to all my friends and family for the tow's and lending of money to keep the car running when I was in trouble. Thank you!
