1. How did you get into the Hyundai scene?
Purely accidental. My Ford Ranger was in desperate need of repair's that I couldn't afford (on top of the monthly payment) and Hyundai sent me a flyer saying they would pay off my current loan and put me in a new car. 2 days later, I drove off the lot in my brand new Elantra.
2. What has been your best accomplishment with the car?
Getting it to be my own. There has been a lot of work put into it in the last 5 years and I feel I have finally gotten it well beyond the "grandma's car" look that it had at the time of purchase.
3. Where do you see yourself in the immediate and long term future with the car?
The immediate future of the ride will include standard maintainence and several coats of wax. Our money is currently putting the wifey through school so I can be sitting pretty in a few years with a beautiful sugar mamma. As for long term, i'd like to get some custom paint done and perhaps a custom sub box built. Nothing too crazy.
4. Thanks and Props:
My boys Pete and Swifty, for helping out with all the suspension work, the many sales merchants on ebay for making my little projects affordable, my wife for putting up with the amount of time I spend with the car, and last but not least, all the forum guys who have helped and commented over the last few years. You guys rock!
